Combined Pituitary Hormone Deficiency (CPHD) or panhypopituitarism is a medical condition characterized by the overall deficiency of pituitary hormones. At the basis of the congenital form of CPHD there are mutations in various genes which will not allow the normal development of the pituitary gland and the differentiation of the cells responsible for producing hormones.
This panel is indicated for those who have a positive family history of the disease (which is transmitted in both an autosomal dominant and recessive manner) or for those who present signs and symptoms of severe overall endocrine deficiency of pituitary origin.

The analysis takes into consideration the mutation of germline DNA, it investigates SNP and Indel mutations up to 150 bp.
